The Acta Group EU, Ltd (Acta®) is expanding its regulatory services and is offering the exciting prospect of working with a fast growing, international chemical products consulting group. We are seeking Regulatory Affairs professionals to join our European office in Manchester, UK. The ideal candidate will be educated in the biological sciences, chemistry, environmental sciences and/or toxicology fields with strong knowledge of and experience in international chemical regulatory affairs, including REACH. Experience in consulting and business development is preferred.

Job Details:

The ideal candidate should be educated to at least the Bachelor of Science level or the equivalent (preferably in biological sciences, chemistry, environmental sciences or toxicology) and should have four to eight years of experience with REACH, NONS, and other chemical notification programs. Candidates with a Masters of Science level and three to six years of relevant experience are preferred. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of and experience with EU chemical regulations, particularly REACH, together with strong project management and communication skills. Experience in consulting, including strategic business planning, is considered an advantage. Product registration experience in Pacific Rim countries is a plus. The candidate will work with existing clients and will actively pursue enhancing Acta’s service offerings. The candidate should be knowledgeable about all aspects of the REACH regulation.

The candidate will be expected to manage assigned projects to ensure timely completion, including coordination with team members for development of test plans, robust study summaries, substance/technical dossiers, and hazard, exposure and risk assessments, including Chemical Safety Reports and Chemical Safety Assessments.
