The Acta Group, L.L.C. By joining Acta’s exceptional capabilities in China, Europe, and the Americas with SHES’ broad experience in South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and South Asia, the Acta-SHES alliance offers clients expanded, seamless access to a comprehensive global team of skilled chemical regulatory experts. With interest in The Act on the Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals (K-REACH) growing as the January 1, 2015, effective date approaches, the alliance also provides international clients unparalleled access to experienced boots on the ground in South Korea.

Acta President Lynn L. Bergeson stated that the alliance reflects Acta’s carefully calibrated strategic growth in key global jurisdictions to “ensure our clients have access to highly skilled local chemical experts familiar with regulatory practices, customs, and government agencies in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and elsewhere across South Asia.”

SHES Director Yongsoon Park commented: “The alliance will be the foundation for SHES to provide more organic and integrated global services to our clients. Based on the expertise of both companies, we will be able to maximize synergies to help our many multinational clients achieve and maintain compliance in the most expedient and cost-conscious manner as the global landscape of chemical control evolves.”

From offices in Washington, D.C., the UK, and China, Acta supports clients’ products by providing a full range of international support for the process of marketing chemicals, biocides, products of biotechnology, biomass, nanotechnology, and medical devices, with an emphasis on North and South America, Europe, and China.
