Leslie S. MacDougall Will Speak on Emerging Chemical Regulation Trends in the Asia-Pacific Rim Region at Saint Joseph’s University’s Global Chemical Regulations and Compliance Management Seminar

Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C), B&C Consortia Management, L.L.C. (BCCM), and The Acta Group (Acta) are pleased to announce that Leslie S. MacDougall will speak, Saturday, October 20, 2012, on “Emerging Chemical Regulation Trends in the Asia-Pacific Rim Region” at the Saint Joseph’s University’s Global Chemical Regulations and Compliance Management Seminar in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This graduate level course will provide an in-depth review of the current international chemical regulations affecting U.S. businesses on various levels of operation, including research and development, chemical product exportation and distribution, global sales and marketing plans, and regulatory management strategies. Focus will be given to the new regulations in North America, Europe, Asia, and the United Nations, as well as a review of the government agencies enforcing these regulations.

Course topics during the five-week seminar include issues on: the Toxic Substances Control Act; the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act; the European Union’s (EU) Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals regulation; the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals; the EU’s Classification, Labeling and Packaging regulation; and chemical regulation in the Asia-Pacific Rim region, among others. The five-week seminar started on September 22, 2012, and ends on October 27, 2012.

The course is not open to the public.
