Michael Wenk, M.S., Quoted In Chemical Watch Article “UN’s GHS takes effect in Argentina”

On August 23, 2017, Michael Wenk, M.S., Senior Regulatory Consultant at The Acta Group (Acta^®), was quoted by Chemical Watch discussing Argentina’s implementation of the UN’s Globally Harmonised System (GHS) for the classification and labelling of chemicals.

Michael Wenk, senior regulatory consultant at international compliance specialists Acta, told Chemical Watch: “The uptick in interest in GHS in South America comes after a long period of relative apathy with respect to implementing the programme. Argentina joins Brazil as the two countries which have fully implemented GHS in the region, but I expect the movement to gain momentum now that the two major players in the region are on board.”
