Gyöngyi (Pearl) Németh, M.Sc., Joins The Acta Group as Regulatory Specialist
The Acta Group (Acta) is pleased to announce that Gyöngyi (Pearl) Németh, M.Sc., has joined our firm as a regulatory specialist, based in our Manchester, U.K. office. A tri-lingual (English, German, Hungarian) with a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering and a post-graduate degree in Experimental Toxicology with emphasis on endocrine disruptor chemicals (EDC), Ms. Németh delivers considerable international experience solving complex regulatory registration, commercialization, and compliance issues, having distinguished herself at major European and multi-national firms, including MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Company and Rhodia UK, a member of international chemical group Solvay, before joining Acta.

Ms. Németh will assist clients with a wide range of chemical regulatory issues while keeping a keen focus on attendant business impacts. Within the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) framework, she will concentrate on the full spectrum of support services for co-registrants or lead registrants, including compiling and submitting IUCLID5 dossiers, preparing Chemical Safety Reports (CSR) and Strictly Controlled Conditions (SCC) documentation, engaging in supply chain interactions, undertaking toxicology and ecotoxicology valuations, developing exposure scenarios, and preparing classification, labeling, and packaging (CLP) notifications. Her excellent working relationships with Member State Competent Authorities (MSCA) and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) will be a valued asset for Acta clients.
Ms. Németh commands a thorough knowledge of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) and will provide comprehensive solutions for GHS compliance through classification and labeling direction, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) preparation and review, and related training program design.
In addition to her experience navigating efficiently business and regulatory complexities, Ms. Németh has been engaged in the scientific and academic community, conducting research at the Hungarian Food and Environment Research Institute, publishing academic papers, and studying the development and application of instrumental and immune analytical methods for pesticides believed to pose endocrine disruptor effects in pursuit of her Ph.D.
