The Acta Group (Acta®) affilate Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C®) is pleased to announce the publication of The Year in Review 2017: Environment, Energy, and Resources Law by the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER). The Year in Review 2017 provides an annual summary of developments in environmental, energy, and resources law. B&C Managing Partner Lynn L. Bergeson and Director of Chemistry Richard E. Engler, Ph.D., co-authored the Pesticides, Chemical Regulation, and Right-to-Know 2017 Annual Report, and B&C Government Affairs Advisor Susan M. Kirsch co-authored the Water Quality and Wetlands 2017 Annual Report.
The Year in Review 2017 provides a detailed catalogue of the impacts and trends of the Trump Administration’s deregulatory effects and reversal of actions taken by prior Administrations. These include citizen groups and non-governmental organizations (NGO) challenging regulatory and executive actions in court, states responding to federal deregulation with increased regulatory activity, and the international community remaining committed to pledges made in climate and other environmental agreements. The Year in Review 2017 is an electronic-only publication that provides convenient links to key cases and recent statutory material. Chapters can be accessed individually in PDF format and the full publication is also available as a single PDF. We are pleased to share this useful document with our clients and friends.
