Save the Date:  Election Results: What Is in Store for Environmental Law and Policy

Bergeson & Campbell, P.C. (B&C) is pleased to host a video webinar on the implications of the election results on federal environmental law and policy on November 14, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. (EST). This webinar will focus on the implications of the elections, including what policies and initiatives can be expected in the next four years, and how any likely regulatory directions may affect our clients. Lynn L. Bergeson will moderate the panel.

Speakers include:

• James V. Aidala, Bergeson & Campbell, P.C.: Mr. Aidala served as Assistant Administrator (AA) for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances (OPPTS) under the Clinton Administration from 2000 until the end of the Administration in 2002. Prior to serving as AA, Mr. Aidala was Associate AA for OPPTS from 1993 to 2000. Prior to that, he served in various positions within the Congressional Research Service, on Capitol Hill, and at EPA.
   
• Charles M. Auer, Charles Auer & Associates, LLC: Charles Auer (affiliated with B&C and its consulting affiliate, The Acta Group) was former Director of EPA’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT) from September 2002 to January 2009, where he was responsible for the management and direction of the nation’s chemical and pollution prevention programs. Prior to heading OPPT, Mr. Auer was Director of the Chemical Control Division from 1992 until September 2002. Prior to that time, he held numerous leadership positions in what was then called the Office of Toxic Substances. Mr. Auer is a leading authority of domestic and international chemical regulatory regimes.
   
• Charles L. Grizzle, The Grizzle Company: Mr. Grizzle was former AA, EPA Office of Administration and Resources Management. In that role, Mr. Grizzle was responsible for EPA’s financial stewardship, as well as the management of four key offices, including budget. His position afforded him a unique, cross-Agency familiarity with all of EPA’s policies and programs.
